Club Policies and Guarantees
Initial booking deposits of $2000 are required on all events to secure space. This deposit is refunded to you within 5 business days after your event providing no damages to the premises or excessive cleaning were incurred during your event. Deposits are non refundable in the event of cancellation. Events which cancel less than thirty (30) prior to the event may be responsible for the entire estimated cost of the event.
Food & Beverage Minimums
FHCC requires a minimum revenue expenditure of $7,500 not including tax & service charge to host an event in the Regency Ballroom on a Friday or Saturday evening during the months of May – December. A $1500 minimum revenue expenditure not including tax & service charge is required to host an event when the club is normally closed for business. If your event does not result in a bill that meets the minimum, you will be charged for the difference.
Pricing & Payment
All food and beverage prices are subject to a 8.25% Illinois sales tax and 20% service charge. Banquet pricing is subject to change up to 90 days before your function. All non member events must be paid for at the conclusion of the event with the exception of Wedding Receptions. All non member Wedding Receptions must be prepaid at least seven days in advance with a cashiers check, money order or cash. FHCC does not accept credit cards.
Menu Selection and Finalizations
Our experienced culinary team can accommodate almost any menu request. Please let us know if we can better serve you with other suggestions. Menu selections should be made fourteen (14) days prior to your event. No more than three entrée selections are allowed. When selecting more than one entrée, please arrange to provide place cards indicating the entrée selection of each guest for ease in serving. A final count of each entrée selection must be provided a minimum of 7 days prior to the event. Any special requests, such as a vegetarian dish, must be requested at that time. You will be charged for the guaranteed count plus any additional added the day of the event. FHCC does not give credit for guests who no show or cancel. Buffet dinners are planned in accordance with your final count. The chef will prepare portions for your final guest attendance. However, leftover items plated or buffet style are not permitted to leave the premises, as per the Board of Health. FHCC offers children and vendor meals.
Decorations and Set Up
Please check with the Banquet Manager for the available time you may begin decorating and setting up (timing is based on other events scheduled at the club for members and/or outside events). The club does allow decorating the day before the event whenever possible. There is a handicap ramp located at the Northeast corner of the building for ease in loading and unloading to the second floor. We can assist you in placing your decorations and favors out on your tables, as long as time permits and advanced notice is given by client and with banquet manager approval. All items must be unpacked with labels removed and directions provided. All decorations in the Clubhouse or on the grounds must be removed at the end of your event. The club is not responsible for lost or damaged items. No items may be pinned, taped or stapled to our facilities’ structures, walls, etc. No fireworks, sparklers or confetti of any kind is permitted. FHCC will provide your event with skirted buffet tables, head table, cake table, gift and place card table, and any other tables you may require.
FHCC promotes responsible alcohol service. Therefore, any requests for shots or double drinks will not be granted or allowed. We also reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to any person. Proper ID must be presented for anyone appearing under the age of 40. Liquor brought in from outside sources is prohibited anywhere on FHCC grounds. Outside beverages will be confiscated.
FHCC has an abundance of parking for you and your guests. Valet parking can be arranged as well as coat check attendants for your attendees at additional fees. Please consult the Event Coordinator for current rates and details. The parking lot is secured nightly with gates at conclusion of the evening so re entering the property after closing will not be possible.
FHCC will not be responsible for any lost or damaged articles before, during or after your event. The host of the event is liable for any damages, theft or misconduct of all their guests. All guests of FHCC must abide by our dress code: Business casual for all guests is required. All events must conclude no later than 12:00 midnight. All guests must be accompanied by a member of FHCC to be in a member only area. FHCC reserves the right to inspect and control all private functions.
